My Dear PITG Family

My Dear PITG Family,

As we approach the end of this year, I want to thank each one of you for being part of this family. There is so much to be grateful for as we wrap up another year around the sun.

To my team: You ARE the living, breathing entity that is Pilates in the Grove. Your dedication and determination continue to inspire me. You work tirelessly to do what is right for our clients. You are changing people’s lives for the better and bringing joy and laughter to the studio while you are doing it. You ARE what makes PITG a family and a community. Without each of you there is no us. I thank you for all of your hard work, your efforts toward improvement, your support and most of all your friendship.

To our clients: Thank you for your loyalty, support, input, and encouragement which have been integral to PITG’s progress and success. Eight years of operating in the fitness industry such as ours that is constantly and rapidly evolving is an achievement that we are particularly proud of – we are honored to be here, and even more so to have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people along the way.

This year we held almost 3000 classes and 5000 individual sessions. We were blessed to have over 700 new clients walk through our doors. We were voted Best Pilates Studio by The Florida Villager AGAIN and will live up to that nomination with pride.  Our family grew with the addition of some amazing new employees as well as welcoming new babies into our PITG community.

All of these achievements did come against the backdrop of a challenging year, which saw transitions in our company culture, core values, and overall structure. While change is often difficult, I felt it necessary to keep us growing in the right direction and allow us to continue to help… How reassuring it is to know that I can count on all of you regardless of what faces us.

In this holiday season, I wish you and your families joy, warm memories, and peace. We should be thankful for what we have and remember to embrace our loved ones and be grateful for the feeling of having them around and close.

I wish you all a very happy new year, filled with prosperity, happiness, laughter, good health and of course mindful movement.

In Health,

Christa Gurka, MSPT, PMA®-CPT
