We go beyond the mat.

Our comprehensive program incorporates the fundamentals of Classic Pilates Principles and Repertoire with up-to-date research on anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics to provide a well-rounded learning experience. We teach you how to use all of the equipment you’ll find in a traditional Pilates studio.

Our program is perfect for the individual looking for an education not just on exercises (anyone can teach that), but also on movement principles, body awareness, injury prevention, and injury recovery.

We offer small class sizes, access to two studio locations for observation, access to mentors and a private Facebook community, and a resource library.

“Taking the comprehensive teacher training has blessed both myself and my clients. Since taking this course, I have been able to create classes which bind together my physical therapy background as well and my love for pilates and human movement. I’m grateful to Christa and her team for their support, knowledge and feedback throughout this process. I think this program is a great starting point for some as well as a great adjunct for people already in the movement/PT world. It has helped me become a more well rounded practitioner and offer my clients low-impact mindful movement at every level of their journey.”
– Kelley Garcia, PT, DPT

  • Teri Seier Moore

“When first starting the training, I was very nervous, as I had limited experience in Pilates. But, within the first teaching session, all of my worries were subsided. The PITG team are some of the most intelligent, creative, and caring instructors I have met. They went above and beyond during each lesson to ensure we understood more than how to perform and teach each exercise. Their team wanted to make sure we had reasoning for all sequences and how to help our clients safely receive the most benefits out of Pilates. The PITG training has left me fully prepared to work with clients and pushed me beyond my comfort zone to help my growth as an instructor. I highly recommend this program for anyone wanting a superior Pilates education. – Niajah Dixon, CPT

“I was lucky to take the Core Advancement Pilates Teacher training in 2017. I honestly didn’t anticipate the intensity and rigor of the course. The 500-plus hour program included self-practice, observation, shadowing, teaching group and private sessions and apprentice hours. The mentoring I got from my Master Instructors was amazing; the fellowship with other students was inspiring; all staff from Pilates in the Grove was very professional and supportive. – Claudia Villareal, NCPT
